Quilting Your Quilt Design Layout Class

Remember, a quilt is just a top until it is quilted. Yes, "Quilting Makes the Quilt" so why not start now and create your "heirloom of tomorrow".

Now that you've completed the piecing of your quilt top, come and learn how to design the layout of the quilting motifs and borders for the completion of your next heirloom. We will start with the design layout, and then learn how to transfer your selections onto your quilt. Learn to use the quilting stencils and have them fit your borders by using the "fudge factor" method. Many things will be discussed, such as; proper marking tools and how to use them, battings, care of your quilt and how to successfully remove the markings. Learn to sandwich the layers properly without those dreaded wrinkles on the back.

Come join Jill Schumacher for a fun-filled and informative day. Extensive quilting designs from Jill's collection will be available for use during the class as well as new stencils for purchase at the quilt shop if you like.
